High DC-Voltage Remote Switch

High DC-Voltage Remote Switch for your Lincoln welder. Wishing you could switch to Remote while your engine is running? This switch will allow you to do that. This is a double-pole, silver alloy contacts Toggle Switch designed for the high DC voltage that runs through your shunts. This switch is rated for 20A 250VDC and will last longer than the regular switch. Use this switch just as you would the regular switch BW305.

NOTE: While the engine is running, the Remote should be plugged-in BEFORE switching to Remote from Local or Off. Not plugging in the Remote first will result in arcing and voltage loss at the remote plug or extension cord plug. While this switch will handle switching while the motor is running for many more switching cycles than the regular switch, when possible, it is still recommended that you follow the normal procedure of plugging in the remote before starting the motor.
