Split Brush High-Performance Lincoln Welder Brush Set (T2687)

These are direct replacement SPLIT brushes for the T2687 main armature brushes. This is a set of 8 high-performance split brushes.

These split brushes will give you a purer DC current. A purer current gives you much better arc and weld control. The split brushes provide significantly better performance than solid brushes. These brushes provide a better commutation to reduce ripple and spikes and in-turn significantly reduces spatter. These split brushes have a design whereby they use two different carbons on each side of the brush with 2 leads to each carbon maximizing the utilization of the full face of the brush. The split brush pair has a "spring" seat to significantly reduce vibration on the brush pair to help maintain a constant contact of the brushes to the armature.
